For children to learn more about Jesus through Bible stories, arts & crafts, plays, songs, prayers and lots of fun!

For: Children K – 6th Grade (In fall 2008)
When: June 23rd - June 27th (Monday through Friday)
Time: 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Where: St. Anthony's Social Hall
Why: To learn more about Jesus through Bible Stories, Arts and Crafts, plays, songs prayers and lots of fun!
Cost: Only $35.00 for one child, $65 for two and $85 for three or more children (includes materials, snacks, and t-shirt)

Looking for SonShine Summer Volunteers - We are looking for youth and adult leaders for our SonShine Summer Bible Camp program. If you would enjoy working with children for one week this summer and you are an adult or a youth in high school, please contact Mary Briseño at 439-0124 ext. 119.

"The Overflow" - Thank you to all those who helped with Sonshine Summer 2006.

Thank you to all those who made the week fun and faith filled. We are so fortunate to have so many youth share their presence with the little ones. The week was packed with arts, crafts, skits, song and prayer. The children learned about Noah, The Baptism of Jesus and the Calling of the Disciples, The Samaritan Woman, David and Goliath, and we closed with the Feeding of the Five Thousand. The children sang for their families on Friday at a closing prayer service.

Sonshine Summer was a fun filled week with lots of
activities for all the children. Thanks to all the hard work of the youth leaders and adult leaders.

“I am a Child of God” was the theme and the scripture along with the crafts, skits and songs all tied it together. The children’s crafts included visors, door hangers, window art, water color, chalk art, t-shirt painting and special Father’s Day cards.

There were skits performed by the Youth Leaders on
Respect, Feeding of the Five Thousand and Jesus and
Peter walking on water. There was a lot of music and one of their favorite songs was “Christian Dance.”
