Taize
Ministry
A one hour prayer service, held once a month in the main church. It
includes a short Scripture reading, quiet music, meditation, and veneration
of the cross. A 5-foot wooden cross is placed on the steps to the
altar and basks in the glow of 70-plus votive candles. Taize participants
are invited to bring their cares to Jesus in whatever way the Holy
Spirit moves them. Many have found this to be a moving experience
and yet another means to grow in relationship with God. Barbara Boldt
