Children's Liturgy of the Word has begun for students in grades Kindergarten through Third grades at the 9:30 and 11:00 masses. For additional information contact Martha Danks-Ferguson at 439-0124 ext. 114.
The Sunday Preschool Program begins on the first Sunday in October and runs through the third Sunday in May. All parents are invited to register their children who are between ages 3 to 5. Your child must be classroom ready. The program focuses on songs and prayers and teaching of the Sunday scriptures through age appropriate readings and crafts. Registration Form
Ministry Core Group - The next meeting will be held Monday, May 19th.
Homebound Ministry - There will be a Homebound meeting on Monday, June 1st for both Extraordinary Ministers and Visitors to the Homebound. This meeting will take place at 10:00 am in the Conference Room and 7:00 pm in the Parish Office Boardroom. If you cannot attend, please notify Sr. Rosa at 439-0124 ext. 112.
English
Charismatic Prayer and Worship - On every first Tuesday, there will be
a Charismatic Prayer and Worship in the Guadalupe
Chapel, followed by Mass. Click

Taize Prayer Service - Next service will be held in June. Worship is based on scripture, silence, music and spoken word. Many find this a very spiritual communion with God.

Landings/Returning Catholics - This group addresses the concerns of Catholics who have drifted away from the Church and are now considering returning. For more information please watch the upcoming bulletins or contact the Parish office.
Rosary/Knitting
/Crochet Classes - Please come join us from
9:30am - 12:30 in the Conference Room. We meet every second
and fourth Wednesday of the month. All newcomers are welcome.
Fellowship and sharing is pleasing to God!! If you have any

Meals
with Wheels Ministry - If you are ill, or someone
you know is homebound and in need of meals, please call the Parish Office 439-0124, ext. 105,
for Meals with Wheels. This Ministry is charged with preparing
meals and delivering meals to the sick and homebound of St.
Anthony’s.
Celebrate
Recovery - The purpose of this
ministry is to celebrate God’s healing power
in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery from
hurts, habits and hang-ups. We meet every Tuesday
at 7 pm at the School in Room #4. For more information call

Community Center Blessing - Please join us as we celebrate the blessing of our new Community Center. Bishop Steinbock will celebrate the 11:00 am Mass and will officiate the blessing and dedication of the new Community Center on May 25 at 12:00 pm. Ukrainian Orphans Need Your Help! Would you like to sponsor an orphan from the Ukraine or host one in your home this summer? God's Waiting Children (a Clovis-based, non-profit, all volunteer organization) is bringing 23 children to California from Ukraine orphanages for an Orphan Camp. It's like having a foreign exchange student at our home for six weeks except that the host family has to cost of bringing the child. All money paid is tax deductible and donations are welcome to offset the costs for families who need the assistance. Hosting a child is a true blessing for the entire family, not to mention the benefit for the orphan! Catholic Charities - "Those who have hope, live differently" - Pope Benedict XVI - As Christians, we are called to respond to the needs of others. Won't you join with Catholic Charities in giving hope to our brothers and sisters by making a donation? May 17th and 18th, Catholic Charities will be having its Annual Appeal which provides critical funding to fulfill their mission of service, advocacy and empowerment for those in need. Please pray about how God has helped you in your life and how you may be able to "pay it forward" in your community through a gift to Catholic Charities. Feast of Corpus Christi - Everyone is invited to join us for the Feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday, May 25th at the 6:00 pm Mass, followed by a solemn procession. Day of Reflection for Widows and Widowers "Walking in Trust" - Saturday, May 31 at the St. Anthony's Conference Room from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided. Morning Focus: Inner Development, Our Spiritual Journey with the Lord. Afternoon Focus: Outer Development, Our Walk of Service. Facilitator: Suzanne Swanson, LCSW, LMFT, St. Joseph Counseling Center. Queen of the Holy Family Guild - The members of the Queen of the Holy Family Guild
want to thank the parish for the support of their Spring
Luncheon and the sale of raffle tickets. A check in the
amount of $12,000.00 will be presented to Fr. Rob on
June 6th at the Installation Dinner.

The next function is the annual August Brunch. ALL

Catholic Professional and Business Club - June Speaker Bishop John Steinbock -
Join the CP&BC on June 13 when Bishop John T. Steinbock gives his annual “State of the Diocese” message.
Bishop John is in his 17th year with the Fresno Diocese and is now in his 45th year as a Priest. Besides updating
everyone on the news of the diocese, Bishop John will also share reflections on his April trip to Washington D.C.
to for Mass with Pope Benedict. Reservations are required for the June 13 breakfast at Pardini’s by
calling Lori Krueger, 434-2722. Doors open at 7 for coffee and networking. The program concludes at 8:30
a.m. The cost is $12 for members and $15 for guests.
Camp St Therese News -
Camp St Therese will not host summer camp for the June 2008 season. We are in the process of reorganizing many
areas, mainly the fundraising, finances and the Board of Directors. The Directors and administrative volunteers and staff
are working very hard to provide funding and scholarships for the future so that many more campers can enjoy the
experience of camp. For all the campers that have attended in the past, our pledge is to improve all areas of the camp
so you can return as campers or even as camp counselors. If you need more information, please call Mary Mosier @

Cheerleaders for Christ Wanted! All Junior High and High School girls are welcome to joing. Our Mission is to bring female youth together for fun, friendship and community service, as well as to gain a more spiritual understanding of our Catholic faith. of a weekend experience combined with post-weekend sessions. It is
designed to provide the tools to help put your marriage in order again.
The main emphasis is on communication between husband and wife. It
will give you the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine

Ambassadors
to Catholic Charities - A committee working with the
Administrative staff of Catholic
Charities is organizing a monthly food drive, asking
for specific food items for each month. The collection would be the
last Sunday of each month. A Catholic Charities truck will be available
to accept your donations . We are calling the campaign the Ambassadors
for Catholic Charities. On an ongoing basis, we will be collecting
rice, boxed or bags and tomato sauce, any style or size. You may drop off the items at the parish office if you wish. Thank
you for considering this very direct way to help so many others in
need.
We Remember Our Troops - Almighty God, our heavenly Father, let thy protection be upon all those who are in the service of our
country; guard them from all harm and danger of body and soul; sustain and comfort those as home,
especially in their hours of loneliness, anxiety, and sorrow; prepare the dying for death and the living for
your service; give success to our arms on land and sea and in the air; and grant unto us and all nations a
