Sacramental preparation is always a 2-year program. Life Teen can prepare your teen for any Sacrament they may need.
The Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation): If your child is over the age of 7 and has never been Baptized, then the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation) all occur together at the Easter Vigil Mass. |

The Sacrament of the Eucharist: If your child was Baptized as an infant and is over the age of 7 and has never received First Communion, we can prepare them for reception of the Eucharist, which will include the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation (Confession). Teens cannot be Confirmed unless they have received First Communion. | |

The Sacrament of Confirmation: Because infants are Baptized so young and their parents are the ones who take on the Profession of Faith, vowing to raise their children in the Light of Christ, Holy Mother Church, in her wisdom, has spread out the Sacraments of Initiation in order to help growing children mature in their faith as they age.

Confirmation is the “sealing of the Holy Spirit” received at their Baptism and a renewal of their Baptismal vows. Far from a “graduation” from religious education, Confirmation is where a teen, a teen’s parents, godparents, and the Church Community declare that a teen is now old enough to take responsibility for their own formation in Christ. |

If your child completed their first year of Sacramental preparation at a different parish, please provide a Letter of Transfer.

Life Teen is scheduled from September 2026 through to May 2027, and the schedule is released on a semester basis. 1st Semester September-December. 2nd Semester January-May.
