St. Anthony of Padua Marriage Preparation Program
To fulfill the formal marriage preparation requirement, our parish offers a weekend program. A Marriage Preparation Class will be held at St. Anthony’s on the following weekends:
February 5 & 6, 2010
June 18 & 19, 2010
October 15 & 16, 2010
The tentative time schedule* for each weekend is as follows:
Friday 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Full participation on both days of the class is necessary in order to receive a certificate of completion for the marriage preparation program.
Space in the class is limited and priority is given to those couples who have a wedding scheduled at St. Anthony’s. Couples who are planning a wedding in another parish, but are interested in attending one of these weekend classes should contact the marriage coordinator, Lynn Medeiros, at 439-0124, Ext. 116, to inquire about space availability.
The cost is $125.00* per couple. Lunch and dinner are provided on Saturday.
*The program schedule and registration fee are subject to change.

Love
If I speak in the tongues of mortals and angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
Love never ends.
And now faith, hope and love abide, these three;
and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8a 13
