On January 12, 2010 an earthquake devastated Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Eighty percent of Haitians are Catholic. Accourding to Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the massive earthquake claimed thousands of casualties, and thousands more are feared dead or injured. Read more
